PSB takes place during Hawaii's peak travel season; hence, travel and hotel reservations should be made early to ensure availability.

PSB 2027 will be held at the Fairmont Orchid, Kohala Coast, Big Island, Hawaii. The Kona International Airport (KOA) is the nearest airport.

PSB is held at The Fairmont Orchid.

For reservations under the PSB Group Rate, call: 1 (808) 885-2000 and reference "Pacific Symposium on Biocomputing 2027" or click here to make your reservation online. The PSB group rate is valid January 2-8, 2027. If any part of your reservation is outside of these dates, please call the hotel directly at 1 (808) 885-2000 to make your reservation.

• Fairmont Room: $305.00 excluding taxes and a non-negotiable daily $20.00 resort fee
• Partial Ocean View: $365.00 excluding taxes and a non-negotiable daily $20.00 resort fee

All rates are based on single or double occupancy and are exclusive of applicable state and local taxes and subject to availability. An additional $75 plus tax per night is charged beginning with the third adult with a maximum of 4 guests per room. There is no charge for children 17 years and under, using existing bedding. When booking online, make sure to update your guest count when filling out the "Guest Information" page; you will be able to indicate if you are traveling with children here. Please make sure to indicate your bedding preferences (i.e. king or double queen beds) in the reservation notes and call the hotel directly to make sure that your reservation preferences are noted.

The resort fee includes self-parking, unlimited basic Internet access, and other amenities. The PSB hotel block sells out, so make your reservations as soon as possible. PSB cannot guarantee the group rate once the room block has sold out. If you are unable to make a reservation, please contact the PSB Coordinator at psb.hawaii @ gmail.com.

For reservations shortened or cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival, individuals will be responsible for 100% of room revenue, per the original reservation, to be billed to the individual credit card on file.

If you are interested in finding a roommate, please email psb.hawaii @ gmail.com with your lodging dates, gender, and other roommate preferences. The PSB coordinator will then put you in touch with other participants who are looking for roommates. Please note that if you plan to share a room at the Fairmont, the reservation must include both guests' names for check-in.

Hotel Parking

Self-parking for one vehicle per room is covered by the resort fee.

For non-hotel guests, parking is complimentary.

Travel Support

We have been able to offer partial travel support to many PSB attendees in the past, including most authors of accepted full papers who request support and many graduate students. However, please note that no one is guaranteed travel support.
